Do you have a steady skincare routine?

mirandasimon

When I first started my essential oil journey over one year ago, one thing I wanted to change was my skincare routine. I was using foundations that were bad for my skin, facial cleansers that were more harmful than good but would always blame my acne on hormones, food etc.

doTERRA is a wonderful company that is the face of quality and purity for their customers and the products that they manufacture.

I use the HD Clear acne line each day along with the oils that are listed in this picture.

Yarrow Pom- a combination of Yarrow and Pomegranate seed oil is used for both internal and topical use. This oil blend is the called "fountain of youth" because both Yarrow and Pom replenish and rejuvenate your skin. Pomegranate seed oil is very cleansing for your blood so that is a big positive of taking this blend internally. Sometimes I will put two drops into a veggie capsule and take daily.

Frankincense- the king of oils as it is best known- a wonderful oil that can literally be used for anything. I apply this oil topically for skin impurities, under my tongue for overall cellular health and aromatically to cleanse the air. By adding this to my face it helps calm my skin, and clear acne.

Lavender- anyone that has used this oil knows that it is calming. This oil is great to be used prior to bedtime to allow your mind to settle and relax. You can apply it to the bottom of your feet or diffuse. Topically for skin impurities (great for bug bites) and internally. This oil pairs great with Lemon and Peppermint as the antihistamine blend.

Tea Tree- anti-fungal, cleansing and awesome for seasonal threats. This oil is used on my face to help treat acne and basically sanitize my pores from all the bacteria that is in and spreading.
